I have had the (un)fortunate pleasure of seeing hundreds of resumes as a hiring manager, and the most basic information on a LinkedIn profile looks much better than most resumes I have seen.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;And today, where any due diligence includes Googling a potential candidate, LinkedIn will show high on search results and by default contributes to their resume.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So where LinkedIn may not be specifically a resume by definition, it can be considered one and should not be discounted as not being one.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;mp/m&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Mike Maddaloni</dc:creator><pubDate>Mon, 01 Oct 2007 09:41:14 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
